Privacy notice
matem.hu is my personal hub: a place to reach me, and the home of a few services I run under this domain. It is not a commercial service. This page sets no cookies, does no tracking or analytics, and loads nothing from other websites.

Máté Magyar is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@matem.hu.
Visiting this site
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver the page and protect it against attacks, Cloudflare's network processes technical data about each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. I don't keep these logs or use them to identify anyone. Cloudflare acts as my processor and may process this data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
The site sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser. The copy button only places the address on your clipboard.
Legal basis: my legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
When you write to me
If you email info@matem.hu, I receive your email address, your name if you include it, your message and anything attached. I use it only to read and answer your message.
Mail for matem.hu arrives on my own mail server, rented from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, and is forwarded from there to my Gmail account, provided by Google. Mail flagged as spam stays on the server and is deleted automatically after 30 days. I keep correspondence only as long as it is needed, unless the law requires longer.
Legal basis: my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me (Art. 6(1)(f)), or steps you ask for before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Connected services
Some services I run live on subdomains of matem.hu. Where one of them processes personal data beyond what is described here, it has its own privacy notice, and that notice applies to it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its processing, or a copy to take elsewhere, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@matem.hu.
You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, NAIH (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, naih.hu, or to the authority where you live.
Nothing else
No profiling, no automated decisions, and no selling or sharing of data for advertising. If this notice changes, the date below changes with it.
